The design of the piano has basically been unchanged for over 100+ years, with only improvements in the sound quality and tonal control. I just thought that the pedals could use one useful addition: a drum pedal. Why? For emphasis during climaxes or just creating catchy rhythms, it would be very useful...In fact, much more useful than the una corda.
